Chapalai joined KHT in October 2021 to support its water, sanitation and hygiene and irrigation projects. He is from Ban Eehko Kee, a Karen village close to Khun Yuam. After graduating from Khun Yuam Wittaya he started his professional career as a Mahout in Chiang Mai in 2014, before becoming a driver and tour guide. Chapalai’s village had a water project when he was younger, so brings experience of KHT’s projects to the team, along with the skills and knowledge he developed whilst working in Chiang Mai. Chapalai is excited to be a part of the team and start supporting KHT’s projects.
