Aka joined KHT in 2004 after working for COERR in Karen refugee camps. He is the construction manager for water projects, which requires him to organise and coordinate teams of up to 50 Karen volunteers in each village and also university volunteers from the UK. He now lives in Khun Yuam with his wife and son.
